Twelve months after Princess revealed its intentions to build its first IPS-powered flybridge, it will be the centrepiece of an impressive display at the Southampton Boat Show. The British luxury boat builder will use its home show, which starts on September 16, to highlight 12 models including the new Princess 49 and V58 Deck Saloon. Powered by Volvo Penta’s IPS pod-drive propulsion system, Princess 49 is expected to  have a top speed of 35 knots (65km/h), with an economical fast cruising speed of 30 knots (55km/h).
Other key features of the Princess 49 include two separate seating areas in the flybridge, with the aft bench converting into a sunpad. It will also have an icebox as standard while a BBQ and wet bar will be offered as options, though Australian customers are likely to have them offered as part of the standard fitout.
The sociable layout continues in the well-designed deck saloon that comes alive with light from the panoramic windows and features an aft-galley that can be fitted with a full-height fridge/freezer  and optional icemaker. This space leads into the cockpit, via triple sliding doors, which incorporates U-shaped seating and teak table to further enjoy the outdoor lifestyle.
The  beautifully appointed  lower  accommodation  of the Princess 49 includes  a  full  beam  owner’s  stateroom,  a forward guest cabin with the option of scissor berths and a generous two berth starboard cabin.

Also making its global launch will be the eagerly awaited addition to the V Class range, the Princess V58 Deck Saloon. The flexible enclosed deck model can be climate controlled or opened to the elements via triple sliding aft doors and a retractable sunroof.
The new V58 showcases dynamic exterior styling as well as offering the high performance synonymous with all V Class sports yachts. Fitted with twin Volvo D13-900 engines, the V58 is capable of achieving speeds of up to 37 knots (68km/h).
The main deck saloon comes complete with a generous U-shaped sofa around a dining table with a sideboard unit with glass and bottle storage and refrigerator opposite as well as a 46″ LED TV on an electric raise/lower mechanism.
Below decks  large   hull   windows   let   light   pour   into  the  beautifully  crafted  lower accommodation. As well as the well-equipped equipped galley and lower saloon with dining area it will feature three cabins, two with an en suite. There is also an option to specify an additional cabin aft complete with single berth, storage and toilet.
Princess will also present the show debuts of the latest addition to the award-winning M Class range, the stunning 30M superyacht and the all-new 75 Motor Yacht.
